I will be hosting an Olive Oil workshop at Coco Barclay on 4th of May. There will be two sessions, at 12noon and 7pm.
It will be an introduction to the exciting Olive Oil world. I will go through; what makes the difference between Olive Oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, how it is produce, how to assess the quality, its uses in the kitchen and its health benefits.
For the session we will be using oils obtained from different varieties, among them it will be “Finca La Torre”.This is an organic oil that recently won the award as Best Food from Spain and First prize at Mario Solinas competition ( considered as the “Oscars” in the Olive Oil industry) and even at the London Olive Oil competition has been platinum award.
At the end of the session we will enjoy some food paired with the oils tasted. This aperitif is going to be provided by Marivi Perello (thermomix advisor).
The total cost of the workshop is £15.
