Flos Olei 2015: all our mills are included

We are delighted to say that all our mills have been recognised and recommended in the prestigious annual Italian Guide, Flos Olei 2015 . It was published last week (November 2015)

Some of them rated very highly indeed and our oils scored (out of 100) as follows:

  this guide is one of the references to the world of Extra Virgin Olive Oil for producers, distributors, marketers and consumers interested in good food. In fact anybody who wants to know what is happening in this sector should buy one. Marco Oreggia, journalist and  wine critic, is the editor and publisher. He coordinates a team of  international expert tasters to provide, at every harvest, a list of the best 500 companies that in their opinion are the best in the world.

The Guide considers oil producing companies from different countries in all five continents. It normally provides a wealth of information about the mills, their oils, production techniques and data, varieties, areas protected by designation (DPO). It also includes a sheet with tasting notes about the oils and food pairings recommendations. There is a special mention for «The Best 20» according to different criteria, such as Farm of the Year, Emerging Farms and so on. In this edition one of our EVOO,Galgon 99-Oro de Bailen, has been included in «The Best 20» as The Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil Monovarietal Light Fruity.

So well done to our mills for this recognition that rewards their dedication.  Thousands of people worked very hard  to produce some of the finest Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the world.
